having been in the maudsley under prof janet treasure et al, i can comment with some knowledge on the recovery stats, in that it is one of the only models that has a great rate of recovery in adolescents. i can’t talk for myself, as my mother refused the “family days” and that i believe is what has kept me in this illness…..of course it’s not the only reason why i continue to restrict, as was said this is layered and extremely complex. i highly recommend this method.
