Why not take them all down? What is it that makes you only care when you know the details?

As a husband and father of daughters (and a feminist by some definitions) I
reject and resent the unhealthy objectification of girls and women.
Why do fashion designers want models that resemble adolescent boys, anyway?

When I learned that Japan is now experiencing the effects of this ghastly
disease, I became convinced that the problem exists because those who could and
SHOULD get involved don't (ignorance) or won't. (indifference)

I'll never understand how split brained men can put their mothers, sisters,
wives and daughters on pedestals while viewing other women as objects who exist
for the singular purpose of feeding the arrested development fantasies of boys
trapped in men's bodies.

America is sick, and now the disease vector shows some indication of pandemic
potential as our influence grows.

I personally admire intelligent, witty, gutsy women, and I'm not at all
threatened by women who are more intellectually gifted than most men. And,
women's brains and character will serve them well and attract worthy friends and
loves long after their physical charms are no longer a priority for those who
would exploit them.

I'll never stop grieving for Karen Carpenter. As a former pro musician her death
devastated me and millions of other fans. To those who don't know how much you
could hurt those who love you, try to appreciate that my tolerance to the pain
grows weaker with each passing year, and who among you regardless of your
anguish has the right to inflict that on those who love you? I'm quite sure that
I didn't fail Karen and I would do anything to help other women recognize the
dangers, and yet I feel so helpless....

The real YOU is not a reflection, which is more illusion than substance. YOU
are a spirit that must be felt by those who wish to truly know and appreciate
and love you. Sadly, too many of you young women don't understand this and
you're incapable of recognizing the expectation (or absence of it) in others.
And this deadly disease may prevent you from ever understanding that before it's
too late.

And it hurts.

I don't deserve that.

And neither do you.
